Application Guide

How to Use PHROTECT™

Recommended procedures for pH adjustment, tile cleaning, and professional acid washing.

pH Adjustment

Test your pool water pH. Pour the recommended amount into the deepest part of the pool near the return jet with the pump running. Circulate for 30–60 minutes, then retest.

Tile & Scale Cleaning

Dilute according to severity: 1:1 for heavy scale, 1:3 for moderate, 1:5 for light cleaning. Apply, allow 1–3 minutes contact, scrub lightly, and rinse thoroughly.

Pool Acid Washing

Professional use only. Drain pool completely, apply evenly at 1:1 dilution. Do not allow the solution to dry. Rinse thoroughly with water after treatment.

Surface Maintenance

For pool decks and cement surfaces, dilute 1:5. Apply evenly, scrub with a stiff brush, and rinse with clean water. Ideal for routine upkeep.
